BUSHES & TREES
Ostentatiously leaving the marks of his fingers on his series of ceramic vases
"Bushes and Trees", Laurin Schaub opts for the transparency of his creative gesture. Inspired by the nature and its hilly landscapes, he transmits to his works that contemplative onirism that mountain can inspire and brings it into our daily lives, encouraging us to garnish it with plants and flowers.
Contrasting with the entirely material and handcrafted manufacture of his work, this collaboration seeks to add a digital aspect to the series of vases. By translating the desire for contemplation convoyed by the works, it projects the viewer with the help of virtual reality (VR) into the artist's mental process. Augmented reality (AR), meanwhile, offers a transition from the real to the virtual by allowing the viewer to manipulate Laurin Schaub's vases both virtually and physically.
